I have looked at some other alernatives nuamrk, the denon mc was too cramped and small, the Vestax has glass edged jog wheels that I don't like the look of.

I am using my NS6 a lot lately with Traktor and I do not recommend buying for exclusive use with Tracktor.
But they also have lots of module controllers coming out that are very nice and powerful when used with other pieces of NI gear.
I own a Numark NS6 controller and am seriously thinking about switching from the Serato program to Traktor Basically you'd get more or less the same. I was planning on buying a Traktor Kontrol S4 controller for use with Traktor Pro 2, but changed my mind because of the plastic build quality, can't use numrak without a laptop and its trakhor for traktor, which means I can't use it with Virtual DJ and Serato.
The time now is Numark NS6 and Traktor? Maybe we should see more flexiable controllers that fit the needs of both Traktor and Serato Without the comprehensive effects, but with Serato.
But currently I can't afford this, so I have to make do with the S4 as it is native to my perferred choice of software I have had wonderful success with Traktor and the NS6.

Hraktor NS6 is a good quality controller, but for a little more, I would rather buy a Pioneer DDJ SX, top quality build, amazing ammount of features, probally the nicest jog wheels ever seen on a controller, superb sound quality, its built to last.

I have some videos up on youtube under user name olegiezer that show its compatability. Pioneer CDJ nexus are plastic and these are probably the most high end piece of DJ gear out there. The Vestax is meant to be mapped really well for every software Do the traktor mappings work well mapplng the NS6?
